Today has been nice. We woke up early and got a lot of work done, ate lunch at home and then took a little trip downtown for an hour or so, walked around the aquarium and got cupcakes. It felt super good to take a short break and get away from the piles of work surrounding us!
I love this dress. I never thought I could love a dress more. It’s really simple, I paid $8 for it, and it’s perfect for this 90 degree weather we have had yesterday and today. It’s finally summer in Tennessee, and boy, is it summer! Walking around downtown in this dress made me feel like we were on vacation, it’s that kind of dress.
But now, mini afternoon vacation is over, and it’s back to work. I am nothing but happy and lucky today. And so very loved. How was your weekend? Did you do anything really great for memorial day?
