Way back in 2010, I worked my last gig as a tour manager for indie band Suckers from Brooklyn. The band, composed of good friends to acquaintances of mine, hooked me into tagging along with them as they drove across the United States and Canada. My dire need to leave the South, be with NYC buddies, and longing for change was just the right dose of ingredients to seduce me into signing up for the adventure. They all still live in NYC and the bassist, Pan, actually dates one of my best friends, Rachel. Since I introduced them, I have a vested interested in their relationship. Rachel was one of my bridesmaids, they gave Eric and I ceramics from Brooklyn store
Mociun as wedding gifts. The Williamsburg based store is owned by Caitlin Mociun, who Pan is friends with. Along with stunning home goods, she creates jewelry. I am a nut for rings. That whole introduction was a long way of saying I am really digging this jewelry. Take a look....

I emailed and asked about the first ring, but it was pretty expensive. I adore all the stuff they produce, but I can't rationalize buying it. Maybe I will find one that isn't way out of my price range. I found this designer on etsy that is some what similar. http://www.etsy.com/shop/ScarlettJewelry?section_id=7130963&page=1
